Changing fill valve awkward pipework

I have to change the fill valve on this the current Flexi is kinked and is to 3/8s new valve will be 1/2 . Would you risk turning the iso off incase it leaks from the slotted bit as looks like I would struggle to swap the iso as the bottom is tiled in. Thanks.

Thanks I don't think the iso valve and fill valve line up unless I can chisel abit if the tile away to line it up.
 
The flexi is too short - I would get one long enough to form an almost complete circle in it, to avoid the kink.
 
Do you mean a straight Flexi not a bent one that is in? Say a 300mm Flexi to 15mm comp.

Long enough to curl smoothly and easily round between the two connection points, rather than the tight kink you have at the moment.
