Hi Guys
Refitting the kitchen and changing from a standalone cooker to separate hob and oven. Have a cooker power point in place with a single switch / outlet for the cooker.
The hob will where the cooker is now, so no problem there. The oven will be the other side of the (small) kitchen - a cable run of about 5m from the existing cooker point.
Do I need a separate cooker point for the oven, or can I just run a spur from the existing point (shared with the hob) round to the oven? Logic suggests that I should be able to as the total load of hob plus oven will be no greater than the standalone cooker.
