I have a light in the hall which is on a pendant where the pendant also acts as a junction box for the circuit ie loop in and loop out. I want to replace the pendant with another light which does not have the loop junction box and only sufficient space for the live neutral and earth for itself.

What is the easiest way round this?

Thanks

Are you sure there is not sufficient space within the light to fit another connector block containing the line loop in?

Other options are to

Purchase a light with sufficient space
Cut a drying lining box in the ceiling to terminate the cables
Fit a junction box above the light in the ceiling that is accessible by removing the light.
