Changing TRV on radiator in loft

i understand what you mean by that, but the actuall temp of the radiator does not vary is what i mean.

It's possibly not worth it. We've only owned the house for 12 months and the TRV might have been on that radiator for many years. They're only £8.22 at Screwfix.

To me, that attitude stinks, and your response is stunningly ungracious.

If you want to give Screwfix your money then I can't stop you, but manufacturers have an interest in finding out how long their products last and why they fail, and good companies (like Pegler) are happy to honour warranties.
