I have double glazed windows, older style with external beading in UPVC. Clearly they are not as secure as ones with internal beading. The glass units are fine. I am wondering if the same frames can be turned around or will I need new frames? If new frames then assuming same glass units are used, what will be typical cost of new frame including installation per meter square?

havent got a clue you cannot reuse your old unit as the window has ton be cerified by fensa or building control as up to standards

so suspect a one off will be around the £500 mark but only a guess

You can't turn frames round for many reasons, I use a quick guide of adding the width and height in cms for a rough price in white upvc, new glass Is also always used too
