I've no doubt the answer to this is very simple but I can't seem to find it.

Basically, im doing a patio and want to install a channel drain. There's a rainwater gulley at the end of the proposed channel drain. I' happy to replace this is needed. Can anyone tell me what I need to connect a channel drain and a gulley together? Or is it easier to remove the gulley and replace it with a channel drain and have the downspout going into the channel drain?

The red scribble is the proposed channel drain

The grey plastic grating is for an old drain and can be ignored.

Some gullys have cut outs to connect other things. The Osma 4D900 can be cut so you can connect the channel into the side of it.
