It's a great way to start an argument by insisting Jesus is not God - he never actually said he is, yet didn't deny it when others claimed he is was.

You are conflating potential for human life, not actual human life.
Around 20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage, so conception is not human life
Anyway, a woman can choose to have an abortion at 16 and then have a baby when ready at say 26. Either way the result is 1 baby. Why do you deny a woman a chance the 2nd baby?

Doubtless the right wing conspiracy theorists will say I told you so. But the impact on the mid terms will be interesting, it could help as a diversion from Epsteen etc, but hinder if people react against what is seen by many as an establishment stitch up.

I am under the impression that the prosecution need to show that he could have potentially killed someone in addition to Kirk.
The guy fired one shot, had he missed Kirk, and killed someone else, it would still be murder, but again, only 1 murder and not punishable by the state's death penalty.
I don't see how the prosecution will be able to show that the single shot could have (beyond reasonable doubt) killed someone in addition to Kirk.
I believe that the government can only force the death penalty in cases such as the murder of a government official and terrorism.
I may well be wrong though.
Either way , if he is found guilty, he will probably die in prison eventually.
