Bought a couple of pendants from B&Q yesterday..

Could have got MK ones..'nah' I thought...'they are only pendantscheap ones will do'

Big mistake!....horrible nasty things.

Lesson learned...never again!

Your not kidding! I saw one strip of 6 5A terminal blocks for 99p the other day. From screwfix you can get 10 strips of 12 for £2.29. I understand most DIY'ers wouldn't need 120 terminal blocks but still... Robbing bas**rds!

They were 1.98 a piece...the MK were 3.30 odd

I really made a cock up buying em though...they look and feel cheap..im going to get MK one and replace em

How can one pendant look cheaper than another? IMO, they all look the same (cheap n nasty). You only have to wire them once, you have to look at them for years . . .

The joke here is that I used to buy pendants from Denmans for 69p each.

MK started selling them in their new range, so I looked at one next time I was in the wholesaler. It was identical (right down to the manufacturers name moulded in the clear base). The only difference? They have printed MK onto the base...

They dont screw up to the ceiling completely..and have a shiney plasticy look to them...but the main thing is the build quality,..which is awful
