definitely there is nothing better than home-made chicken eggs, love them, they are so rich in everything! My grandma always had a lot of chickens and the rooster. Just the trouble was the bloody rooster kept chasing us trying to bite us to our small asses, sometimes successfully :D :D Was a nightmare:)

Delicious.. :)
Always found of great recipes of chickens,Chicken eggs curry is the special one and mine favorite also..No more talk about it becoz my mouth begain water..so carry on

Me and the Mrs are just about to embark on chicken keeping, coop is on order, type of chickens decided on (silkies), her choice not mine but they do look like funny little characters so i've gone with it, not overly bothered about the amount of eggs we get, i don't eat them and she won't eat many so what we get we'll end up selling or giving away 80%

Anyway, hope we get some silkies that look like these funny things...

we have five chickens in the school, lovely bright yellow yolks ans think white. nothing like the shop bough ones.

Got a couple more coming at the end of August for the garden. Looking to get Pekin Bantams.

My girlfriend's mum has a couple of chickens and the eggs are the best I've ever tasted. We're hoping to get a few of our own in a couples of months!

Considering getting a few hens myself when my house is further along and we move on to working outside, might need a bit of advice nearer the time on breeds and advice on how to keep them.

Also thinking of getting a few sheep. There is a breed of low maintanance sheep popular here from Cameroon.
