Chimney stack flues

Hi, I am replacing a old fireplace from the 60s and the builder had to install a new flue. At the top of the chimney stack before there were four flues. Three with metal with cups and a fourth larger ceramic one open at the top.
He has now installed only a new metal one in the center.
Is this correct?
