Can you get those triangular trowels over here? Why are they showing it anyway?

Stupid BBC. They should be showing a polish trowel.

I've never even seen a Chinese person on a site ... do they even build things?

It's the same old story - pull absolutely anything off the 'net without verifying where it is from or how appropriate. Typical BBC these days........

I've only seen that style of trowel used on the continent - easier on the wrist when laying mortar beds

But they will pay for it on their back when then need to be constantly bending to pick up mortar. They wont fit enough mortar on that trowel for a four-brick spread.

Neither will they be able to properly spread mortar at high level

That trowel just seems so awkward to use.

The Chinese I saw using it was pretty quick. He scooped it at the front and let it out the back.
