I have just had a conservatory installed and am now laying the floor. I am using 22mm moisture resistant chipboard and I have read that I need to leave a gap between the board and the wall. I intend to lay Beige Travertine Laminate Flooring on top of the chipboard. My conservatory has two UPVC sides and two house walls. Is it OK to butt the chipboard flooring and the laminate right up against the UPVC frame, and just leave the expansion gap on one of the wall sides (this will be covered by skirting board) this will do away with the need to run a length of quadrant along the UPVC sides. If it is OK to do this it will look much neater.
Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
