Circuit Breaker Ratings

As the switch is to isolate the appliance, I would try to keep the switch within 1 metre of the unit.
with a bigger heater you may need 1 and 1/2 metre just to reach the terminals.
How wide is the unit you can sometimes work out how many elements and load by that.
