Civil unrest

There you go . . . A simple cause for a very complex problem, one that all the bleeding heart liberals think they have the easy solution too.

White man stealing black man from Africa is only a very short period of a very small number in the history of slavery, which is still a massive problem today.

You'd think all those extremely successful ethnic groupings got where they are quite by accident.

P.S. If you think you're free & think you aren't somebody else's slave, then take the day off & go to the beach.

Google 'Oberlin College Lawsuit' & read everything. Whether it's the left or right leaning media it is a situation that you just couldn't make up.

A survey was recently carried out to see if switching die-hard Fox news watchers could be persuaded to change to CNN by paying them $15 an hour over a month. Some did change their minds after a while but most went back to Fox after the trial period ended.
The polarisation in American politics can be traced back to this split in information output by one-party news channels. When the Russians do it it's propaganda, when Americans do it it's called Freedom of choice.

Read the article again and look at the purpose of the experiment.
It was no surprise to anyone that the test subjects realised Fox was lying and biased and a couple of weeks of truth quickly ridded them of the awful Fox brainwashing.

Nothing to do with convincing people to switch channels.

I doubt it, we are too placid as a population. Too distracted by the distraction of phones, TV, etc.

There were signs of protests against high energy costs however, with mass 'switch-off' on certain days but I'm not sure how many have followed it. I feel something like this is the only feasible method -- perhaps even on a scale seen in the late '80s, early '90s where councils across the North of England refused to enforce the poll tax.

Which is...?
Sorry, but I don't like to engage with anything below mouth breathing moron.
Poor old duffer cant answer. Embarrassing.

When energy is in short supply, anybody who switches off for a day is doing the rest of us a favour by reducing demand

feel free to switch off as much as you want

can you use less petrol as well, please?

... not enough to pay my bills....

perhaps she could find someone to chip in a chauffeur, a London flat, and a country house? And a subsidised works canteen?
