Hello,

Want to add some cleaner & inhibitor to my heating system.

Do you need to drain the system down fully or can it be added

via each rad. Can the concentrated products be added through

the bleed vent on each rad.

Any advice would be great..

Craig.

Oh really? Can you cope with all eventualities, such as:

1. Not having any drain point.
2. System failing to drain.
3. System failing to fill.
4. Getting a blockage in some inaccessible pipework.
5. Having a failed drain off washer after the last fill.
6. Stuck TRVs.
7. Stripped threads on rad vents?

:?:

Edit: corrected an error in quoting

surely modest DIY plumbing skills would usually cope with it, though it would have been less risky to do it in summertime, when a problem that takes a day or two to fix would be less inconvenient.
