The previous owner of my house painted the rendering white on the front of the house, then continued on and painted the Cotswold stone edging white as well! (He named it the 'White House')
I want to restore the Cotswold stone by removing the paint, which I think was masonry paint. I've tried using Nitromors to soften the masonry paint, but it appears to have little effect on it. I've used my pressure washer with a sand blasting attachment on it; this is very messy, takes ages to remove it and uses a lot of sand for a small area.
Has anyone any suggestion what might soften the paint so that the pressure washer can remove it easier?
