Hi all. Following the current thread about how to apply silicone sealant - I'm now asking how to clean it off again!

Basically I'm redoing some paneling around the bath, and I want to get all the old sealant and grout off the bath so I can start from scratch and get a good finish. I generally use the edge of a knife, but it can leave scratches and take the enamel away.

How would you people achieve this? Thanks.

A 1" wood chisel.
Carefully use a sharp chisel and slide it along the bath/shower surface, then the tile surface at a shallow angle and the silicone will come off easy.
