Cleaning tile grout (Bathroom)

Is it mold you are trying to get rid off or discolouration?

Don't use bleach, it is just as bad for your health as the mold. Soap and water should be fine.

Obviously in this case it isn't. There is a grout cleaner in B & Q which works quite well, they also sell a stiff bristle brush which maybe able to loosen the ingrained dirt.

If you can't clean it you may have to scrap it out and re-grout. Don't bother with those colour pen revivers, they are crap.

Thanks...do you know the make/name of the grout cleaner?

GROTBUSTER is what anyone should use.
Now available at ASDA. £2 ish.
Thin nozzle and squeeze it onto the grout lines.
Leave for 1 or 2 hours- and then clean it with a wet toothbrush .
It REALLY does work.
Ignore the instructions- which probably say you dont have to leave it for so long .
I did some real mucky tiles last weekend with it - and it brought them back to new .
