Cleaning up old fridge

Got this fridge /freezer off a friend. Been cleaning the inside with fairy liquid and water then spraying it with this dettol stuff before I put it into kitchen. Do I need to clean the outside (the bit on photo)?

No but remove any loose material in the plastic tray .

Always a good thing to lightly brush and vacuum the coils at the back of the fridge to keep it efficient and if its auto defrost, clean the drain hole at the top of the salad drawer and the tray that sits on the top of the compressor.

Yes, clean the outside too.
Who knows what is on the outside, it will only take a couple of minutes to wipe over it.
