Hi, Does anyone know how to clean up a Victorian quarry tiled floor please? Most of it seems to be coated in something that is very difficult to get off by hand. Tried a hand held steamer, scraper, wire brush but it is very time consuming and not very successful. I was wondering whether it would be advisable to hire a sander. Any ideas/suggestions?

You need to use a stone floor cleaning chemical ideally, elbow grease alone is not enough.
