Hi all, apologies up front for a (probably) dopey question, I'm just a girl.

I have a very small understairs loo which I am looking to update. The current sink waste goes directly into the floor. The new style basins do not seem to have a pipe as such, just some gubbins under the sink, so where does the waste go to?

Thanks in advance.

Fran

You could use the basin, and the waste would need to be on show as existing. So you’d need to purchase additional chrome pipe and fittings, a length of chrome wastepipe is approx £45, plus fittings. If you’re not bothered about chrome, you could opt for white trap and fittings.

Thank you. I was hoping to get rid of unsightly pipework
