Closed cell expanding foam

I always thought that all expanding foams are waterproof and don't absorb moisture.
I fact, i have had bits lying in my alleyway for years and never sucked any water.
I also sealed a 20mm gap between tiles and bath on a landlord request and nothing has happened to that.

Ok, some ideas that you might want to have a look at. Epdm rubber as your skin and base it’s secured using a solvent based waterproof sealant. You then have the perfect surface to add epdm foam on top or virtually any other closed cell product. There might be a surplus of EWI knocking about. Or you could look at technitherm were you can spray it directly onto the boat to seal even the most awkward place. Also you could check out BASF they have a spray foam insulation product. Both these products go on as a liquid and set like solid foam and completely waterproof. Hope this helps.
