Hi all,

Had a direct unvented cylinder installed in March and over last few months it started making a clunking noise. It makes the noise when:

• The immersor is on heating up the tank (especially if hot water has already been used previously)
• if it’s in use and discharging hot water for a bath etc.

In both instances it tends to make the clunking noise every 5/10 minutes and only stops after about an hr+ (if it’s when tank immersor on) or when water stops flowing (if its when using the bath)

Plumber who installed it seems to think it’s the temperature and pressure relieve valve at the top of the tank being loose inside and banging about but it’s definitely feels like something expansion related in the tank.

Any advice would be helpful and video attached of noise.
