clutch knocking when released

Hi the clutch knocks on my Toyota aygo when I release the clutch ( only when the engine is on) what's the problem guys ?

It sounds horribly like the friction plate is breaking up.....is the car under warranty?

Do some research on these clutches.....the Peugeot 107 is the same one.
There has been many clutch issues with these cars, and Toyota know all about it.
This may give you some leverage when it needs a repair.
Obviously I haven't heard your car, but clutches should work silently.

Does it make noise when you work the clutch in neutral? If not, the noise might be in the transmission?
