[code] tag problem.

If I lose my Ajax handle then I just time out and leave the floor dirty for a while longer.

Yes, it was when previewing; it wasn't important, so I never pursued it. But when the problem with "code" tags came up and you mentioned Ajax, a bell rang reminding me of my earlier question.
 
What is this code tag and what is it supposed to do? :D
Simple, it solves the "white space" problem (all white space is reduced to one space) when laying out tables. The problem is that the preview and posted version do not look like the written version, so you have to fiddle about to get it right - see my earlier example.
