Coffee. How do you take yours?

I was actually Googling last night why cafetiere coffee tastes different to filter coffee. Apparently, the filter paper absorbs some of the oils from the coffee grounds, which strips out some of the flavour.

As said, my go-to, is the French Press, however - whilst away, with the caravan, I compromise a little. I use coffee bags, one bag, per two cups, in one of those two cup drinking/vacuum flask things. It after it's 4 minute brewing time, it gets poured into a mug.

Or Casper the friendly ghost.
Here's casper

I have to confess to making a coffee filter with kitchen towel and the end of a plastic milk carton, once or twice.

One of our friends is a coffee snob. When we used to stop for a coffee at the café in Weald country park, she would insist that they made the coffee from the second machine behind the counter. They had two identical bean to cup machines but she swore the second machine was better. I used to hate it when it was my turn to get the coffee's in as when I asked for one from the second machine, they would always say "they are both the same" and I’d have to explain that our coffee snob insisted they weren’t.

I love coffee, but last year I had to go decaf which is quite upsetting.
I used to buy organic Honduras coffee beans from a shop in Tiverton, the coffee was lovely. I used to grind them up and chuck two spoonfuls in a cafetière, leave for 3 or 4 minutes and drink black.
Now I buy decaf beans and it's not the same. Not found a brand of decaf I like yet.
