Cold cathode lighting

Are we talking the linear 'neon' style kit?

I have a supplier for this, but their details are at the office. They tend to be a little picky with first time users though as they suffer many claims for damaged kit due to clumsy hands!

If we are talking the new cold cathode downlight type stuff, JCC do one which is great. The downlight is deeper to accept the supplied lamp. Not my cup of tea, but we are seeing a call for them.

Just had a look.

It is signbuyer we used. They supply 2m lengths, and you join these with a tail coupler which gives a 5mm gap which you cannot notice when lit.

Hi

Not 'off the shelf' - in the sense that it's made to order but I bought all mine from here.

It runs at 990v so is indeed LV.

Computer stores

Ebuyer (.com) have 2x 12" blue tubes and inverter for about £3

CFLs are easy to track down.

Cold cathode is what I'm searching for.

Do try to keep up....
