Combi Boiler - Distance from back door?

Hello,

I am currently installing central heating and need to know about where to place the boiler. It will be going on an outside wall next to the back door. My question is.......is there a certain amount of space that I need to leave between the boiler and the back door?

Not the boiler, but the flue terminal, 300mm from any opening in the fabric of the building, but then I would have expected the RGI fitting it to have told you this

That is unless you have a car port or other similar structure built around door

what difference does it make if it is under a carport, does that affect the distance from the door?

Yes, it then makes it 1400mm I think, or is it 1500
