Combi Boiler Hot water preasure

You've answered your own question.

It sounds as though the bath tap is faulty, or more likely, someone has made a balls of fitting a flexi connector to it, which is kinked.

Have a look under the bath panel, and see if there is an iso valve partially open.

I'll put money on that's there's nothing wrong.

Anyway if it's brand new, why don't you get the installer back to check.

The bath tap was fine until I got this combi fitted. How would you measure the flow rate Dan?
There was never any pressure difference between the sink and the bath before.
I'll get them out to check it out.

Get a bucket and time how long it takes to run a known volume - say 30 litres.

Then calculate the flow rate in litres per minute.

What was your old boiler?

Is this a conversion from tanks to combi?

Do you know the difference between pressure and flow?

I still had a gas fire/back boiler with storage tank.I don't know the difference Dan,no.
I don't have a clue about these things to be honest.

And there you have your answer.

Combi boilers are a different kettle of fish. Any half decent installer should have explained this fact before even turning the old one off.

Like in dais you need to KNOW the flow rate coming out of the bath taps.

Ignore everything else until you have that figure.

And ideally some temperature readings of the cold coming in and the hot coming out of the boiler. But we have other methods.

Can you post a picture of your gas meter?

Does it have a red dial?

With the boiler running the bath, time the number of seconds it takes for the Red dial to do a complete revolution.

Did the installer upgrade the gas pipe to the new boiler?
