Combi boiler move

In 2021 I had an Intergas Xtreme 36 boiler fitted into a wardrobe in a bedroom. It was a straight replacement of an old Vaillant combi.

I would like the boiler relocated to the landing at the top of the stairs, mainly to free up the space in the bedroom and to allow new wardrobes to be fitted.
I have had the original installers come and quote for the move but would like to get a couple more quotes to see how competetive they are.
The problem I'm having is finding other Intergas engineers in my location.

Would any heating engineers be willing to quote for this or is this something they wouldn't do unless Intergas trained?

You need a gas safe registered engineer to complete this work. Intergas trained has nothing to do with it, although sometimes to keep a long warranty you may need an accredited installer. A set of manufacturers instructions might be needed, but often available via the internet anyway.

I have a local heating company (none Intergas accredited) and also an accredited Intergas engineer both coming to quote for the boiler move.

Yeah, it doesn't need a IG accredited (P5) installer to work on them, though some installers do find them a little different to what they are used to and may struggle with some aspects of them. Only extension that can be had with their new installation warranty these days is to fit an IG mag filter.

That move could end up quite expensive, as presumably the cupboard is in the centre of the house so may need a vertical flue with extensions to run up and out the roof with the associated roof work too.

Thanks @Madrab the boilers new position will be on the landing at the top of the stairs on an outside wall. The standard flue will be ok.
The intention is to build a cupboard around it and make it as soundproof as possible!

When installed it had the IG mag filter fitted so already has the extended warranty.
