We currently have no hot water or central heating
ALPHA CB24
Red & Amber lights flashing together

To get either of the above we have to do the following . . .

Turn hot water tap on downstairs, turn hot tap on in bathroom, (lights still flashing), turn heating dial on, bleed one of the radiators (has to be a specific one or it won't work!), red light now goes on and we now have hot water

Any suggestions appreciated, thanks in anticipation

You sure the lights are nor flashing alternatively? since that would indicate pressure issues. Does the gauge show between 1 and 1.5 Bar?

Sounds like Multiple faults - possible due to lack of regular servicing
time to get a boiler engineer in !! ;)

Thanks for the comment . . .
Boiler serviced ever 12 months, covered by British Gas cover, , just wanted to try and remedy the issue quickly, which has now been done thanks to a helpful gentleman on another forum!

Would it be rude if I asked what the fault actually was. Information is always useful. :)
