one of the hot pipes on my system was leeking so i turned the cold supply to my boiler off. I soldered a new piece of pipe in and a new tee and the leek stopped. i opened up the taps to get the air out but do i have to vent the radiators. Please help.
Depends on whether it was the DHW pipe or the flow/return pipe. If you managed to solder a joint on then there couldn't have been much water in the pipe anyway.
Why not just try bleeding the rads anyway, it only takes a few mins
