Ive had an experince with a rogue builder and just wanted some advice
I had problems with a heater half heating up and hot water coming and going. I have a combi boiler and he ‘fixed’ it six months ago and he said it would be fine for at least a few years, six months later same problem and after trying numerous times he finally came to check it out and in a couple of minutes he just said change the boiler and he’s trying to blame me for it.
In the end it was just something simple, getting the air out of heaters – something another builder came and that was the first thing they did
So my questions are:
How long does it take to see if the heat exchanger is faulty?
When would the heating AND water fail you? As far as i know they would be two seperate issues unless theres the pressure i had or a leak somewhere, is there another way where both would occur?
Any other suggestions on how I can prove this?
