Hi - can any one recommend the size of combi boiler needed to service my bungalow. I have ufh in the back part with 3 zones (40sm). In the original part I will want 7 radiators and hot water supply for two bathroom and a kitchen. Was thinking of Vaillant for the make...Thanks.

A combi is probably not a good idea if you have two bathrooms. Why do you want a combi?

Do you really expect a combi to supply two bathrooms at the same time?

As always the advice of your boiler installer on site should be taken.

Hi - I have a gas fitter coming to move the gas supply and fit a new boiler in a new location. He has asked me to think about what size boiler I want...? I was thinking about a system boiler initially. Up for any advise. I went back to the combi boiler as one bathroom would have an electric shower. Is combi a no? Cheers

An electric shower is just that ! It does not fill baths.

As long as you accept the limitations then a combi would be fine. I always suggest a minimum of 28 kW for an owner.

BUT you do need to have adequate dynamic mains supply pressure if you want to use combi DHW and the electric shower at the same time. 20 li/min @ 1.0 Bar would be about the minimum.
