Just finishing off the installation of the Optimax HE31C and looking to supplement the system with a couple of goodies.
1. Spirovent Air/Dirt 22C - these look to be a good unit and could improve the longevity of the combi system especially as the installation is in a bungalow and the CH 'ring' is in the loft with all rads being fed from drops above.
2. LIFF Limescale Inhibitor - I don't know much about these having always used a 'real' water softner in the past. Are they worth having ??
3. Honeywell CMT927 wireless programmable thermostat - as I understand it, these will work with any boiler system but I am unsure as to whether I will need a seperate 240v feed or can it be taken from somewhere within the boiler casing ??
