Combi Boiler won't turn on, any ideas?

Hi

We called out the gasman as we could smell gas, turns out the old lady next door had left her's on.

The gas man turned our gas off in the basement, check things then turned it back on again.

The gas hob is working fine, but the combi boiler won't spark to life.

It is a Vaillant.

We have tried holding the button with the dot and pressing the ignition, also the flame one and trying the ignition and both + ignition, still no joy.???

Can anyone save me from a cold bath?
