Have been quoted Sime Murelle 30 HE which isn't in favour by most on this forum. So, what are the comparables offered from Worcestor-Bosch and Vaillant for the equivalent output the Sime provides?

OP the vaillant equivalent is the 831. fitted many of these and touch wood never been back to any of them (except to service) hot water is very good most of my customers have turned theirs down as it was too hot

I would agree with the above. Go for the Vaillant 831 for better quality, or look at the ATAG E32C for the best of the best.

You would need to get a Broag 35C to acheive comparable flow rates to these two in the real world and Broag is of lesser quality than both of them.

Why are you looking for the models that exactly match the sime that some cowboy quoted you for?
If sime is his idea of quality, I would question his choice of size and model as well.
To help you do your own comparisons: the figure in the models' indication is invariably the power and is in 99% of cases between 24 and 45 kw.
A model with the number (sime)30 would therefore produce 30 kw.
A kilowatt is a kilowatt, hence the difference is hot water production between comparable models of different brands is negligible.
