i have replaced a leaking indirect combi h/w cylinder. The cylinder is sited in the loft space so there wasn't much to drain down/disturb from the primary circuit. But now 'hot water only' will not fire up. If I switch both heating & water on, then fine; boiler fires up and hot water starts circulating through the cylinder, providing hot water for a bath etc. If I select 'hot water only' - nothing.
The boiler is a regular Baxi, sited in a cupboard off the landing. I can see a pump mounted on top of the boiler. I can't see a motorised valve anywhere & i'm asuming it's within the boiler somewhere. Can't see any vents anywhere either. thought this was gonna be simple. :( Grateful for any advice.
