Big cast iron rads removed to restore parquet flooring and on re installation son wants trv's instead of manual valves.
No access to sub floor to see if there's a drain cock so I guess I will have to rig up a hose to the manual valves individually to drain down before replacement.
Not worked on a combi system before but I gather its just a case of turning off the power to the boiler, draining down then on refilling opening up the valve on the filling loop and vlosing at the recommended pressure. The boilers a valiant around 12 years old, any ideas what the should the pressure be once the system is bled.
Tia.

Yes, on a combi, you can often create a vacuum once drained. Pressure should be 1-2 bar maximum.
