An odd event for you faux patriots with your flags.

Noticing a lot of cars are now having flags in the windows

Had 1 in for mot. It failed on a few bits and I removed the flag from the windscreen before the test (allowed to, to avoid it failing on that) and put the necessary advise on it, and explained it

He took the car away to complete the repairs and brought it back but with the flag stuck in and I couldn't remove it without damage so had to fail it

He accused me of being anti British, so I gave him an appeal form.
