Hi Guys

We are getting an extension and as a result we are replacing our existing combi boiler. I'm meeting the plumber tomorrow night to talk about some stuff regarding sizing of the boiler etc..

My question is, what should I be asking him to ensure happens when he is commissioning the new boiler to ensure smooth ongoing operation.

Also, as the boiler is going into the garage, are there controllers available that allow the heating to be controlled remotely. Currently, the boiler is in the house and we switch the heating on/off/timer just by using the switch on the actual boiler.

Many thanks in anticipation

Just ask him for his CORGI photocard and copy down the number.

Then tell him you want it commissioned, Benchmark completed and CORGI notified!

Read up about flushing the system.
