I have just replaced my kitchen sink with a 1 1/2 bowl sink. The traps are 40mm compression fitting but the existing waste pipe is push fit. I am not able slide the compression fitting 'nuts' over the push fit pipe as the outside diameter is too big. Are conversion fitting available to enable this to happen. Alternatively are push fit traps available, if so where from?

If it is 'old' waste pipe then you could be on an impossible search. Years ago nearly every type/colour and manufacture of waste pipes had their 'own' sizes. Can you take a peice of your existing waste into local plumbers merchant to try to find a fitting that will fit :?:
