"Concept" burglar alarm

Is anybody familiar with this alarm please? I need to replace the battery.
Will all Hell break loose if I take the cover off the box? If so, how do I avoid it please?

All alarms have an anti tamper switch which detects the lid being opened, when this happens, providing it is not set only the internal souner will go off, which you can stop by entering your code.

change the battery and put the lid back on then re enter your code/ reset button
