It's a funny old business, no doubt about it. How on earth did we end up like this!

We got fat, dumb and happy, let female and left wing influence gain hold, believed in the big state and stopped thinking for ourselves or taking responsibility. Manners and respect were binned as antiquated. Christian standards as a framework (not to be confused with blind religious belief or following) were pushed out. The rest is history..............................

Is that system used on motorways/ A roads, or just in residential areas?
Happy birthday BTW.
I know you don't like a fuss, but I couldn't help it.
Hope there's been no dramas during the celebrations.
mainly residential, although we are de iluminating stretches of motorways altogether. Trials are being done. Thanks for the birthday greeting, I don't like to make a fuss over such things, as you know I am a very private person.

So here we are. Uk in desperate state. Everything you can think of is screwed, and this is what this traitorous lemming thinks is valid.

He's an anarchist wrecker. Many staunch liberals/lefties are. They don't care what their demented ideologies are doing to people or society. Unfortunately they're winning, but people are finally waking up. Unfortunately Notchy isn't one of them.

That's because everyone who can is leaving.

I read the other day, so maybe it's true, that there may be another reason. Apparently the Tories changed visa rules not long before they left office. These changes didn't start having an impact on numbers until Labour had been in for some months. Starmer then started crowing that he was bringing the numbers down - when in fact it was the Tories' policies.

Conclusions and recommendations by Human Rights Joint Committee

1) A policy of pushbacks fails to comply with the obligations to save those in distress, contrary to the right to life and international maritime law

2) Pushbacks would create a situation where state actors were actively placing individuals in situations that would increase the risk to life.

3) Under the current conditions, we cannot see how a policy of pushbacks can be implemented without risking lives, contrary to the UK’s obligations under the right to life and international maritime law

Tough. Do it first, and argue afterwards.

Explain the threats to life on the beach at Calais???
Distress - what distress?? It cannon feasibly be ALL distress. Distress due to nobody giving them money and the situation in which they put themselves??
Pulling them out of the water gets them out of distress.
Let people in Without Any Controls??? That can't be right - that's pretty obvious.

Plenty to argue about and while we're all doing that the illegals will get no money; it'll stop.

Break the trade..
Set up legal routes.
Control it.
Don't let criminals manipulate laws to justify their activity.

It's like "you have to let me shoot you because if you touch me before I pull the trigger that's assault."

Shame on the "Human Rights Joint Committee". Not fit for purpose
Stop respecting it.

What they say is LAW is it?? Under what statute??

What are these “demented ideologies”?

The fundamental economic problems in this country and breakdown of public services aren’t caused by immigration, so stopping it won’t make everything great.

It’s people like Farage that have led to the problems and voting for him will only make things worse

Oh and Reform don’t have any solutions to stopping small boats, all they have is lies.
