Concrete base for Garage?

Hi, this summer I will be making a concrete base for a preformed concrete garage. This garage will be down the bottom of the garden and will be used for keeping the grass mower and a work bench in.
What sort of base do I need?

One thats good enough for a garage not a shed.
Is it a shed or garage?, ie can a car het to it or only a mower

Hello there,

I was told that if it is a concrete garage or prefab building that a oversized concrete base. My builder allowed around 6" all around but best to check with your garage supplier.
