Hi all
I am shortly going to be taking delivery of a 16 x10 shed. I want to make a concrete foundation..could anyone advise whether it may be cheaper to purchase ready mixed concrete, rather than sand and cement etc and mix myself. Many thanks

Personally I'd get a good shuttering in place, and then call those people who will mix and barrow on site....you pay for what you use and they'll help with the tamping down!
John :)

There are factors to consider before deciding. Access being a large contributor.
Access?
Quantity?
Logistics?
Working time?

As it is only 3 tonne of ballast and aboot 20 x 25kg bags of dust we would likely hand mix unless the waggon can shoot the muck straight into the shutter.
