Concrete base over existing patio slabs??

Hi,
I want to move a concrete garage onto an area where there is currently a patio, rather than get it all up would there be any merit in just pouring a 50mm slab over the current patio? The garage is used for general storage

I notice the garage is currently sitting on a 50mm slab on top of a bed of bricks!
