Concrete imprint drive price

Hi all
I have just had a quote for my drive, the size of my drive is 77m2.
I got quoted £5,700 pounds to remove existing concrete, lay a 100 to 150mm foundation and 100mm layer of concrete.
Does this price sound reasonable?

Seems ok to me.

On here is says cost vary between £25 and £130 per meter. I can’t imagine the £25/mtr being too clever.

I would recommend you have your drains CCTV’d first, maybe replace your water supply pipe too if it’s Lead or Steel.

Are these 1980 prices among with the whole imprinted driveway thing?

I looked at several concrete drive finishes, they looked good, but then I saw a drive finished with Tegula block, slate in colour.
Very nice... got a quote £5900.

The blocks have a nicer finish and each piece can be replaced if damaged etc, where concrete damage can be repaired but could be a pain to fix and match up with existing concrete laid.

So Tegula blocks it is.

Don't forget to include the airbricks.
