Hi,

I need to extend the concrete base of my Garage a few inches so that it forms a base for the Garage Defender. At the minute the base plate of the garage defender sits a few cm above the tarmac as the concrete garage floor is a few cm above the tarmac drive.

It's a not a very large area (a few cubic cm at most), I was wondering what the best option is. Should I concrete over the area under the baseplate to make it level with the garage floor ? I have a feeling the concrete would probably not hold for long.

I was planning to drill some holes in the Tarmac and use mastercrete (I had some left overs).

Thanks

dig it out and pour a new concrete block.

a bit of concrete perched on tarmac will not form a secure mounting.
