Hi,

have just pulled out a fitted wardrobe which was in the bedroom that i'm doing up, there appears to have been a condensation problem on the wall where the wardrobe used to be, ie thick black mold and the wall feels damp too!

the plaster hasnt perished and seems very firm, i am planning on having the whole room skimmed but would like to know how long roughly will it take for this area to dry out?

any advice greatly appreciated

if the room is heated AND ventilated it should take no more than 24 hours for the surface to become dry.

common sense should be applied in this case.
